Welcome! Heavenly Vision Education Center has been providing early childcare services to the South Los Angeles and Compton communities since 1975. 

Our goal is to create a warm, safe, caring, and loving environment for the whole family. We are here to serve you to the best of our knowledge and invest in your children. We believe that parents are their children's first teachers, and we are committed to supporting you in your significant role of raising the next generation. Our aim is to assist in developing a better quality of life for all humanity.

At Heavenly Vision Education Center, we believe that children learn best by doing and experiencing the world around them. Therefore, we provide a rich, developmentally appropriate, and positive learning environment with various experiences to build the skills that young children need to thrive and succeed in life. We are excited to work with you and your little ones to achieve their full potential.

We provide a rich learning environment with curricula that are developmentally appropriate to the specific ages in each classroom. We have a flexible day routine that allows children to advance at their own pace. We strongly believe that learning happens through play. Learning and exploring are hands-on and are facilitated through interest areas. Our program is designed to enhance children’s development in the following areas:  creativity, self-expression, decision-making, problem-solving, responsibility, independence, and reasoning. We encourage openness to that which is different from us, and the ability to work and play with others.

Heavenly Vision Education Center, Inc. uses a developmentally appropriate curriculum, active learning curriculum in which children make choices and learn through hands on experiences. As part of this curriculum, we gather information about each child’s developmental abilities and evaluate progress so we can modify and adjust what we are doing in our classroom so as to deliver the best individualized instruction. 

All our teaching staff meet the California Department of Education, Title V qualifications for working in a state funded program. Teachers possess either an Associate Teacher Permit or a Child Development Teacher Permit both issued by the office of California Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Site supervisors hold a Site Supervisor permit which allows them to manage one site. Teachers and site supervisors participate in orientation and ongoing training in the areas of child growth and development, healthy and safe environments, developmentally appropriate practices, guidance, family relationships, cultural and individual diversity, and professionalism are all practiced here at Heavenly Vision child development center.
